Tyler Allgeier, Brenton Strange, Andrei Iosivas, and Jacoby Brissett all delivered in Week 13, as did the Jaguars defense. Looking ahead to Week 14, we feel good about another strong batch of waiver wire targets.
Adonai Mitchell
Targeted 25 times over the last three games, Adonai Mitchell had a breakout performance in Week 13. He had eight catches, 102 yards, and a touchdown to post 24.20 PPR points.
In NFL Fantasy leagues, Mitchell is rostered in only 0.4%. Garrett Wilson is out for at least one more week and might not return at all this season. A home game against the Dolphins represents an opportunity for Mitchell to put up big numbers yet again.
Isaiah Likely
Baltimore is facing a Pittsburgh team which has conceded the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends. Despite a fumble in the redzone, Isaiah Likely had his best game of the season in Week 13.
Likely corralled five of his six targets for 95 yards. All of those marks are season-highs.
Pittsburgh’s struggles against tight ends should push the Ravens towards putting two tight ends on the field on a regular basis this weekend. Likely can be a short-yardage release valve for Lamar Jackson and offers a down-field threat.
Tyler Shough
Look, Tyler Shough isn’t in an ideal environment. It’s been a difficult start to his NFL career, but he’s still posted decent fantasy value.
Week 10 and Week 13 were solid for Shough. He’s thrown the ball 81 times over the last two games. Along with New Orleans’ pass-heavy offense, the rookie is also getting a few designed run plays along with his inevitable scrambles.
Week 14 sees the Saints face the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is in the bottom 10 in fantasy points conceded to quarterbacks and has seen its defense leak points over the last four weeks.
Kalif Raymond
Amon-Ra St. Brown is likely to miss at least Week 14 with the Lions facing the Cowboys on Thursday night. Dallas has conceded the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
Detroit has been consistent in its usage of St. Brown and Jameson Williams. Williams’ owners have a chance at a massive haul in Week 14, but Kalif Raymond also becomes a viable option in deeper leagues if he can manage to practice throughout the week.
Raymond has been Detroit’s WR3 by a clear margin this season, with a 44% offensive snap rate.
Chris Rodriguez
Chris Rodriguez has had 11+ rushing attempts in three of the last four games. He’s scored four touchdowns in six games and has been targeted in the passing game in each of his last two outings.
Washington’s Week 14 matchup is with a Vikings team that ranks middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to running backs. Rodriguez’s snap count has been above 40% in each of the last two weeks, reflecting his increased workload.
While he’s hardly going to transform your fantasy team, Rodriguez is a decent option given what looks to be consistent usage in an offense that needs all the help it can get.
