NFL Week 14 Power Rankings: Packers and Saints Rise, Buccaneers and Cardinals Fall

NFL Week 14 Power Rankings: Packers and Saints Rise, Buccaneers and Cardinals Fall

Week 14 of the NFL season has now concluded and it is time for the weekly tradition of ranking all 32 teams in the league. The playoffs are rapidly approaching and teams on the bubble are running out of time to make their stretch run. Here is how the league stacks up heading into Week 15.

32. New York Jets (3-10)

Weekly Change: Down 2

For the first time in a few months there is a new team at the bottom of these rankings. The New York Jets have officially hit rock bottom with a blowout loss to the Dolphins that perfectly encapsulates their horrific season.

31. Las Vegas Raiders (2-11)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Raiders kept it sort of close against the Broncos this week, but still lost. This team needs to tank successfully the rest of the way. A top three pick is essential for this franchise’s future.

30. Tennessee Titans (2-11)

Weekly Change: Up 2

Finally the Titans got back in the win column with a victory over the Browns. Unfortunately for them, it hurts more than it helps. They are in a tight battle for the top pick in the draft and this win may haunt them.

29. Arizona Cardinals (3-10)

Weekly Change: Down 6

Arizona looked pathetic in their game against the Rams. A coaching change feels necessary.

28. New York Giants (2-11)

Weekly Change: Up 1

Mercifully for Giants fans, their team did not play this week. A bye week has never been more needed.

27. Washington Commanders (3-10)

Weekly Change: Down 2

The Commanders lost by 31 to the Vikings. Jayden Daniels struggled and the defense let J.J. McCarthy have the best game of his career. It was poor all around in Washington.

26. Cleveland Browns (3-10)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Despite losing to the Titans, Cleveland remains here. The bright spot was Shedeur Sanders, who threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns.

25. Atlanta Falcons (4-9)

Weekly Change: Down 1

Atlanta looked absolutely helpless against Seattle. This team is dead in the water and a regime change could be coming for both the coaching staff and front office.

24. New Orleans Saints (3-10)

Weekly Change: Up 4

New Orleans picked up a big win against the Buccaneers. Tyler Shough struggled at times but also made enough big plays to swing the game. He should be the starter next year.

23. Minnesota Vikings (5-8)

Weekly Change: Up 4

Minnesota destroyed Washington in a game where J.J. McCarthy finally looked like a first round pick. The Vikings will not make the playoffs, but if McCarthy finishes strong that will be a morale boost heading into 2026.

22. Indianapolis Colts (8-5)

Weekly Change: Down 9

The Colts are on a three game losing streak and just lost Daniel Jones for the season. A devastating week for Indy. Hard not to feel for Jones and this fanbase.

21. Miami Dolphins (6-7)

Weekly Change: Up 1

Miami has fully bounced back from their rough start and now sits on the fringe of the playoff race. This late season surge bodes well for the future of head coach Mike McDaniel.

20. Cincinnati Bengals (4-9)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Cincinnati was ultra competitive with Buffalo but fell short. This defense needs a complete overhaul in the offseason.

19. Carolina Panthers (7-6)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Carolina was on bye. Thanks to Tampa’s struggles they are now tied for first place in the NFC South. There is a real chance this team hosts a playoff game.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6)

Weekly Change: Up 3

Pittsburgh picked up a clutch win against the Ravens and reclaimed first place in the AFC North. If they host a playoff game they could be a tough out.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Tampa Bay continues to drift farther from the hot start they enjoyed early in the season. The offense cannot find consistency and the defense is simply average.

16. Baltimore Ravens (6-7)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Ravens appear to be finished. Lamar Jackson does not look like himself and the defense is not good enough to carry this offense. Time to look toward next year.

15. Kansas City Chiefs (6-7)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Speaking of being done, Kansas City is right there. The offense is poor, the skill players drop passes constantly, and the defense is inconsistent. This team needs an offseason overhaul in scheme, personnel, and possibly coaching. Missing the playoffs in Mahomes’ prime is unacceptable.

14. Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Dallas fought hard against Detroit but the defense let them down again. This team is not making the playoffs, but at least they are entertaining.

13. Los Angeles Chargers (9-4)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Chargers picked up an absolutely massive win against the Eagles. They should make the playoffs, but their ceiling is hard to gauge.

12. Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Jacksonville earned a critical win against Indianapolis to take the lead in the AFC South. They look like a legitimate playoff contender.

11. San Francisco 49ers (9-4)

Weekly Change: Neutral

San Francisco was on bye. An easy one against the Titans awaits.

10. Philadelphia Eagles (8-5)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Philadelphia is in freefall. Jalen Hurts threw four interceptions and zero touchdowns on Monday night. Something is seriously off.

9. Chicago Bears (9-4)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Despite the loss, there is no need to panic. Losing a one score game in Green Bay is not a concern for a team of this quality.

8. Houston Texans (8-5)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Houston picked up a massive win against Kansas City. The defense is arguably the best in the league. This is the team no top AFC contender wants to see once the postseason rolls around.

7. New England Patriots (11-2)

Weekly Change: Neutral

New England was on bye. A season defining game awaits next week against the Bills.

6. Detroit Lions (8-5)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Detroit kept its playoff hopes alive with a win over Dallas. Losing Brian Branch is devastating. This defense is significantly worse without him.

5. Denver Broncos (11-2)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Denver kept rolling with an easy win over Las Vegas. A real test awaits with Green Bay coming to town.

4. Buffalo Bills (9-4)

Weekly Change: Down 1

Buffalo escaped with a win over Cincinnati. The defense is concerning, but this offense can keep them in any game. Still my pick for the AFC’s best for now.

3. Seattle Seahawks (10-3)

Weekly Change: Down 1

Seattle dominated the hopeless Falcons. A matchup with the Daniel Jones-less Colts awaits.

2. Green Bay Packers (9-3-1)

Weekly Change: Up 2

Green Bay looked like a true Super Bowl contender against Chicago. The sign of a great team is winning games in multiple ways, and both the offense and defense can carry this team.

1. Los Angeles Rams (10-3)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Rams crushed the Cardinals 45-17 and remain the league’s best team.
