Our Legends have definitely taken a step back this year, and results have been uneven at times, but there is still a very interesting race brewing for "Top Legend". Three are currently tied for the lead, Eric Bierman, Brandon Lewis, and our AI friend Robot Rob, with Hakan Yumusaklar right on their heels.

This week’s slate is especially exciting with the first round of the College Football Playoff kicking off. We get two matchups that should be extremely competitive, along with two that look like potential blowouts based on the spreads, but that is why they play the games.

As for trends this week, most of the Legends are backing Alabama, the 49ers, and the Rams. And who would have guessed a few months ago that 10 of our 11 Legends would be backing the Bears against the Packers in a crucial December NFC North showdown, but here we are.
