Sandman Legend Picks: Week of Nov 20th

The age of the robots taking over may have been a bit premature. After a blazing start, Robot Rob has cooled off and has now posted back-to-back 2-8 weeks. He has slipped under .500 for the first time all season and now sits behind four human experts in the race for bragging rights as THE Sandman Legend for 2025.

There is still plenty of time, though. Even with a few of our Legends frustrated compared to last season, it only takes one hot streak to climb right back into the mix. And this might be the week it starts.

Kudos to Eric Bierman, who has stayed hot over the past few weeks and is now tied for first place with last year’s champion, Ken Wintermote. The race to the finish is setting up to be a fun one, and this weekend feels like it could add even more chaos to the standings.

There are four games with heavy agreement across our panel, most of them coming from the college slate. Nine of our ten human experts like Missouri to cover in Norman, with only Wintermote and Robot Rob backing the Sooners after their impressive road win in Tuscaloosa. None of our human experts trust Pittsburgh on the road in Atlanta, with all ten riding the Yellow Jackets. Robot Rob again stands alone and sees the Panthers covering. Only Paston and Butler believe TCU can hang with Houston, leaving the other nine all over the Cougars.

In the NFL, opinions are all over the map except for one game. Most of our experts like Tampa Bay to bounce back and cover the touchdown spread against the Rams, with only Sanders, Paston, and Vesper believing Los Angeles wins big.

Another wild week is coming, and the standings feel like they could swing in a major way. Buckle up.
